August always feels like the season of abundance.
The garden is overflowing with vegetables. Farmers markets are filled with fresh produce. The days are long, the evenings are warm, and everywhere you look, you can see the reward of months of planting, tending, and patiently waiting.
It’s a beautiful reminder that growth doesn’t happen overnight.
My word for August is abundance.
Not because life is perfect. Not because every goal has been accomplished. But because I’m beginning to see how all of the small, intentional choices I’ve been making are creating a life that feels full.
For a long time, I thought abundance meant having more—more success, more money, more accomplishments. But this year has changed my perspective.
Abundance is waking up with peace.
It’s nourishing my body with meals made from scratch.
It’s harvesting vegetables from my garden.
It’s spending slow evenings with people I love.
It’s creating a home that feels calm and welcoming.
It’s feeling healthy, grateful, and present in the life I’m living today.
This year has taught me that the life I’ve been dreaming about isn’t built through one big moment. It’s built through hundreds of small ones.
Every workout.
Every walk.
Every home-cooked meal.
Every book I’ve read.
Every habit I’ve practiced.
Every seed I’ve planted.
Every intentional choice has become another brick in the foundation of the life I’m creating.
That’s what abundance means to me.
It’s not about having everything.
It’s about recognizing everything I already have and continuing to nurture the life I’m building with gratitude and intention.
This month, I’m choosing to embrace abundance by:
As I move through August, I want to remember that every small habit, every intentional choice, and every step forward is creating the life I’ve been dreaming of.
Abundance isn’t waiting somewhere in the future.
It’s growing all around me—and within me—one beautiful day at a time. 🤍🌿
